The transaction was completed on March 31, 2006. The combined entities will be known as Sigma Solutions, Inc. and be headquartered in San Antonio, TX. Sigma Solutions will now have branch locations in Houston, TX Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, New Orleans, LA, Phoenix, AZ, Santa Fe, NM, Emeryville, CA, and Minneapolis, MN. Combined revenues for Sigma and SIS were in excess of $80mil for 2005 and total employment will be approximately 100. Sigma was established in 1998 and SIS was established in 1982. Sigma Solutions specializes in offering ADVICE, DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ENTERPRISE DATA SYSTEMS. Sigma also offers products and services for RFID technologies with a large deployment test center in Hutchins, TX. Major vendors represented by Sigma are Sun Microsystems, EMC, Symantec, Hitachi Data Systems, Microsoft, Oracle, and Vignette.
